Millions of people around the world drink tea for many reasons. Tea is more than just a beverage Tea as a part of culture and life. A Cup of Tea creates and expands our network around the world. Tea connect me to know Misato-San since 2021. I appreciate her heart she wants to conserve tea trees around this area and also revitalize the old temple. I strongly support this project to inherit tea and culture together. I wish her project will be successful and achieve the goal in the future. I encourage you always.

世界中の何百万人もの人々がさまざまな理由でお茶を飲んでいます。お茶は単なる飲み物ではなく、文化と生活の一部です。一杯のお茶が世界中に私たちの繫りを生み出し、広がっていきます。 2021年からみさとさんを知りました。焼津地域の茶の木を保存し、全珠院を復興したいという彼女の心に感謝します。お茶と文化を一緒に継承していくこのプロジェクトをとても応援しています。彼女のプロジェクトが成功し、将来的に目標が達成されることを願っています。私はいつもあなたを応援しています。

エピソード/Episode

2 years ago, This was the first time we met at Phaya Prai Village in Chiang Rai, Thailand. I joined a project of Univerisity of Shizuoka collaborating with MFL Univ. and supported by Toyota Foundation, as a workshop teacher.

Dr.Piyaporn Chueamchaitrakun(Aj.Jip) managed all processes and internally of this project, my first impression of her was “she is so strong and efficient.”

2nd time we met was last year 2023 at MFL Univ. symposium about Tea and Coffee. My impression was not changed at that time. But 3rd time, I joined a Chinese Tea workshop at MFL Univ. This class is done in Chinese or Thai language. I cannot understand both, but Aj. Jip translated for me and welcomed me with her warm heart.

People of every kind always surround her. Young people are especially friendly to her because she takes care of younger people like me.

In this year, she gave me a great opportunity of introducing myself at International Symposium. I can contact Big Tea Lovers.

In the future, I want to become like Aj.Jip who support everyone try their dream. She is my role model.

二年前に、トヨタ財団が支援をした静岡県立大学とタイ・チェンライ県のメーファールアン（MFL）大学での共同研究のプロジェクトに参加するため、ワークショップ講師としてチェンライ県パヤパイ村に訪れました。

ピヤポン助教授と初めてお会いして、先生は全ての日程やアクティビティそして研究の管理などをされていたので「なんてテキパキした人なんだろうか。。。」と驚いたのが第一印象です。（タイの皆様がおっとりしたイメージがあったので）

２回めにお会いした時は、昨年MFL大学で行われたプレ国際学会でした。その際も第一印象と変わらずといったところです。

しかし３回め。MFL中国茶のクラスに参加した時のことです。このクラスはタイ語と中国語でのみ行われ、どちらもわからない私のために先生が横に座って付きっきりで英語に通訳してくださいました。本来なら授業を受けられる対象ではない私ですが、中国茶に興味がある旨をお話ししたところ先生が温かい心で迎えてくださいました。その時に色々お話しする機会がありまして、先生の印象がテキパキしている➕とても暖かく全力投球であるとなりました。

先生の周りには常にたくさんの人々で溢れています。特に若い人は先生にとても親しみを感じていて、それは先生が私のように若者を手厚くサポートしてくださるからだと思います。

そして今年２０２４年。先生は私に大きなチャンスをくださいました。国際学会で自身を披露できる機会です。たくさんの著名な方や同志たちと繋がることができたのでした。

将来、私も先生のように夢に一生懸命な方達をサポートできるようになりたいです。先生は私の理想です。
